With the answer to this question quite a lot comes to light. Neither publication date nor style should play a role here. We spontaneously ask for the “All Time Top 10 Traxx/Songs” and start with our Eternal Entertainment artists.

It wasn’t easy to make up my mind on just a chosen few of my favourites. So I picked those tracks that played a kind of special role at some point in my life and that still cause an intense feeling when I listen to them today. My first ever vinyl record – surely an important milestone in everyone’s life- didnt make it on the list however; the “Da da da” 7 inch by Trio 😉

  • Pilldriver – Pitch-Hiker – Cold Rush Records
  • Terrorists – Paranoia – Super Special Corp.
  • Inferno Bros – Slaves To The Rave – Dance Ecstasy 2001
  • The Mover – The Eagle Has Landed – Planet Core Productions
  • Dead can Dance – Sanvean – 4AD
  • Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds – The Mercy Seat – Mute
  • Einstürzende Neubauten – Fütter mein Ego – What’s So Funny About..
  • Nine Inch Nails – Hurt – Nothing Records
  • The Specials – Stereotype – Two-Tone Records
  • Throbbing Gristle – United – NovaMute

Every chosen track represents an important milestone and accordingly influenced my perspective regarding music consumption and of course producing in a certain way.

  • Paul Hardcastle – 19 – Chrysalis Records
  • Public Enemy feat. Anthrax – Bring the noise – Island
  • Quadrophonia – Quadrophonia – Streetbeats
  • Altern8 – Evapor8 – Network Records
  • The Prodigy – Everybody in the place – XL Recordings
  • The Kotzaak Klan – Sikk – Kotzaak Unltd.
  • The Kotzaak Klan – Bang your Fuckin Head – Kotzaak Unltd.
  • Marshall Masters – Stereo Murder – Cold Rush Records
  • Inferno Bros – Slaves To The Rave – Dance Ecstasy 2001
  • Human Resource – Dominator (Beltram Mix)- R & S Records

“To be honest, this is a real hard one for me to compile! As I, especially as a DJ, listen to and love so many songs and traxx I could seriously create a Top 100 list! So I’ve decided to pick the songs & traxx in a chronological order that had the most impact on me when I heard them for the first time. I even could give you a detailed note to each of my picks but I guess that would go way too far.”

  • Public Enemy – Rebel Without A Pause – Def Jam Recordings
  • Quadrophonia – Quadrophonia – Streetbeats
  • Holy Noise – The Nightmare Continues (Rave Mix) – ARS Productions
  • The Prodigy – Jericho – XL Recordings
  • Arpeggiators – Freedom Of Expression – Harthouse
  • Program 1 – U Got A Light? (Bonus Bombs) – Planet Core Productions
  • Stickhead & Don Demon – Conquer The World – Kotzaak Unltd.
  • Hypnotizer – Innocent Minds – Things To Come Records
  • Rammstein – Klavier – Motor Music
  • E-Man – Under My Command – Acardipane Records
